WELCOME

Welcome to Virginia's Place

This lovely 1850’s home is located in Frankfort’s downtown historic district. Carefully restored and updated, Virginia’s Place has southern charm and 21st century comforts. Rentals are available overnight, a few days, or a month or more! We’re committed to making your stay comfortable, memorable and enjoyable.

Hardwood floors, fireplaces and large bright rooms abound at Virginia’s Place. Encompassing the entire first floor, the living room, hallway, office and bedroom are comfortably decorated with period antiques and art. A half bath is nestled under the stairs.

Three Smart TV’s, high speed wireless internet, scanner/copier/printer, and a washer/dryer are among the amenities provided.

Sip your morning coffee at the cozy cafe table. During the summer, enjoy fresh tomatoes, sweet basil and other herbs from Virginia’s kitchen garden. The large kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, cookware and bakeware. All appliances are brand new.

Relax on the covered front porch in wicker rockers or the porch swing. The Capital is visible over the roof tops, and you can enjoy our many perennials and flowering bushes. The private back patio has a gas grill and plenty of seating.

The dining room is large and bright. Of note are the original hand-hooked chair pads and the hardwood floor pattern.

Don’t miss the tribute to Virginia and her love of ducks made by her friends in Frankfort’s rug hooking group. Each duck was designed by a different friend and is noted on the sign next to the staircase.

Let us be your home away from home, we'd love to have you!

"What a wonderful place to live away from home!  Comfortable and spacious with every thing you need!  Lovely setting to relax or entertain.  I've even hosted a dinner party at Virginia's place!  It is  a lovely place and you really don't want to leave. That will be the only problem you have, never wanting to go home."

"Virginia's Place in the Capitol District---My welcome respite from hectic travel is walking distance to Historic Downtown Frankfort. My only challenge was to decide where to eat my home cooked meals--kitchen, dining room, shady patio or front porch? The small office off the hall was a treat. Thank you. I'll be back next year."

"Really enjoyed my stay at Virginia's Place. The house is simply beautiful, inside and out. The rooms are very comfortable, spacious, and private. I loved that it has all the amenities of home, and that it is located in such a friendly and quiet neighborhood. Virginia's Place will always be my first choice when visiting Frankfort."
